Anyone using Matrox M-Series?

Hello,

         I'm very interested to buy a Matrox 'M9188 PCIe x16' but I don't have any experience with Matrox cards.

         How is the driver support for this cards, since it's use a proprietary instead de mga? I'd take a look on the last driver release notes and that's say:

         "Linux kernel 3.x isn't currently supported."

Also, now, Matrox opened the code of driver for M-Series, any plans for Xorg (or other/kernel) support that?

         Any issues with Gnome-Shell?

         Please, tell me about your experience with M-Series, otherwise I'll need to go to 2X Nvidia NVS...
