[SOLVED] USB Automounting broken in thunar

I recently upgraded through the package manager and everything seemed to have went well.
However the upgrade seems to have broken the mounting through volman and gvfs. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

The problem is I don't get an error. The pen drive and external drives both light up as they did earlier but thunar doesn't automount them.

Ok.

What makes you say it does not automount them?

When you rightclick on them, do you see the option "Unmount" ?

No no I mean they show up physically as active but they don't show up in the sidebar of thunar nor in the mnt folder. Maybe it was something upstream that broke thunar, it's happened before. I can post a log if that would help but I'm not sure which one would be helpful here.

I just did an update and that seemed to have cleared the problem, I guess it was something upstream. Thanks for the help regardless though daedhel.

Re: [SOLVED] USB Automounting broken in thunar

I had same issue. It ended up being because some permissions were broken on my system by something dumb I had done. My
file /usr/lib/dbus-1.0/dbus-daemon-launch-helper had the wrong permissions.

I saw this by running ck-list-sessions and this returned an error.

Fixed by re-installing dbus and dbus-core.
