Re: [SOLVED] Blender Crash

I got the same error just now as well, while running some webkit related test. The output is as follows:

libpng warning: Not enough memory to decompress chunk
libpng warning: Profile size field missing from iCCP chunk
libpng warning: Not enough memory to decompress chunk

Re: [SOLVED] Blender Crash

I just started Anki and got the same errors too. The program doesn't crash though; it only prints the errors and then continues.

Upgraded libpng to 1.5.8-2 from 1.5.8-1 this morning. I haven't seen these errors before, so I'm guessing it has something to do with it.

Since last update, I'm encountering exactly the same problem.

Mentioned in the libpng website: http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/libpng.html

1.5.9 is already in [extra].

Re: [SOLVED] Blender Crash

I also get this exact error in xbmc. Looks like something is wrong with libpng.

Re: [SOLVED] Blender Crash

With the latest update of libpng, the console messages disappeared, but blender keeps failing.

Re: [SOLVED] Blender Crash

I think that, the problem solved  with the last updates of the driver of my graphic card.
