Cannot hibernate on KDE 4.8.0

Hi to everyone!

Since I've upgraded to KDE 4.8.0 (about one week ago), it's impossible for me to hibernate the system using TuxOnIce.
Every time I launch the command hibernate -F /etc/hibernate/tuxonice.conf I get the following error:

The kernel says it needs 4497408 bytes to accomplish the task, that is about 4 MBs, but my swap partition is about 970 MBs!
Don't know if this strange way of acting is somewhat related to the fact that the linux-ice package isn't maintained anymore, but, well... is there anyone out there who can give me a helping hand?

Ps: of course, I've followed the instructions in the wiki; I repeat, the problem showed up when I put KDE 4.8.0 on my machine.
