[VLC] Immediate crash afters song playback is started...

Hi guys, i update vlc to latest version VLC media player 2.0.0 Twoflower (revision 2.0.0-0-g421a4fc).

But it simply works like s**t. Every time i start any song it plays for three seconds and VLC then crashes. Not sure of this is VLC or archlinux related bug, but i suspect VLC developers from making this releasy veeeery buggy (there are some other very new awful bugs).

Sry, but not all the forum users here speak Česká; google does provide some hits with similar error messages, though...

Anyway, I can't confirm the error: VLC 2.0 plays mp3s without crashing on my system.

Hello, guys, I can confirm this bug after todays VLC update. It crashes randomly, sometimes when I just load the song into VLC. This isn't restricted to MP3, as it happens also with other formats.

I guess this is a VLC problem, so there probably isn't much to solve here in Arch, besides using a different player.
