setting up archlinux

I am installing archlinux on a virtual box machine. I have configured my sound to work properly but when I try to install graphical user interface I get this problem

$ pacman -Syu vitualbox-archlinux-additions


error : failed to commit transactions(conflicting files)
filesystem: /etc/mtab exists in filesystem
util-linux :  /bin/mountpoint exists in fileystem
util-linux :  /usr/share/man/man1/mounpoint.1.gz exists in filesystem 
Errors occured no packages were upgraded.

The mtab problem has already been solve in this trhead https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=132225.

I hope the other messeges go away with the filesystem installation too.
