I just got a portable USB 3.0 hard drive that I'm trying to get to work with the USB 3.0 port on my laptop. Right now, in order for my drive to be detected at all, it has to be plugged into the USB 3.0 port when arch is booting. When I do that, it mounts fine and I can use it without any problems. However when I try in plug it into the 3.0 port after arch was booted, it isn't detected. It is however detected if I plug it into one of the 2.0 ports on the laptop.
