Hello Archers,
I've always quite enjoyed the Sanguine icons and Inhuman gtk theme from Ubuntu Satanic Edition. It doesn't look like anyone has ported these to the AUR before, but now you may enjoy them too:
Obligatory screenshot (no icons as I don't use a file manager):
Note that the Themes package depends on the Icons; I've kept them separate because the sources use different version numbers. Combining the two packages would have made the resulting PKGBUILD too complicated.
Please let me know if I've done anything wrong - these two packages are not only my first submission to the AUR but also my first attempt to create PKGBUILDs.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law! Pretty cool, thanks for this. I don't think the || return 1 part is required anymore.

No worries, glad you like it .
I don't think the || return 1 part is required anymore.
Could you please expand on this? I adapted the PKGBUILD from google-talkplugin and assumed the "|| return 1" was part of some conventional way of doing things.

It was, but it's been deprecated for like a year by now.
The build functions catch errors, so if something breaks, the build process aborts - which makes all the || return 1 stanza's redundant.

Okay, I see. Thanks for the explanation. It appears it won't hurt to leave them in for the moment?

I don't think this icons are really sanguine. All I see is bloody icons with no hope in them. Not sanguine at all
By the way, sanguine must be the most interesting word in English. I wonder how it came to be?

There also exist certain sources (popularised by The Da Vinci Code) that claim the French word for the Holy Grail, "sangreal", is derived from "sang real" - "Blood Royal".
Exsanguination refers to letting blood, for instance when someone commits suicide by cutting their wrists.

Or like the old day Barber-surgeon's would do

You'll find a great deal of English words have French origins (read up on the history of English if you want to know why). So the French really don' t have anything to complain about .

But didnt the French get it from Latin? I found this
Origin:
1275–1325; Middle English sanguyne a blood-red cloth < Old French sanguin < Latin sanguineus bloody, equivalent to sanguin-, stem of sanguis blood + -eus -eous
Sorry OT
