Greetings!
I'm using arch Linux with the intel driver installed, version is 2.17.0-2 and it is working almost great!
The only issue I am trying to fix is with the FullHD TV.
When I connect the HDMI cable, the TV is recognized and xrandr shows it supports 1920x1080.
But the TV stays at 1024x768 with "missing" edge of the screen.
When I try to change tghe resolution for any value higher the TV loses signal.
I have no idea of what it can be.
Does Anyone saw it before?

Did u try to disable firrst the laptop screen?
I had a similar issue with my Intel HD3000 and HDMI out and ive "fixed" it disabling laptop screen.

You might have to set the virtual display size in xorg.conf to 1920x1080. Also, it might be a problem if you are trying to clone the displays. You probably don't want to do that, but use 'overlay' mode (as it's sometimes called).

Hello, thanks for replying.
I tried disabling the laptop monitor and the result was the same.
But about set the virtual display size I tried somethings, but no result.
I tried, with xrandr, set the HDMI1 rightof LVDS1 and then set HDMI1 mode to 1920x1080, but, same result: TV loses signal.
I tried, with xorg.conf, create a Screen1 and set it rightof Screen0, use the same video card and other monitor ("HDTV" I created with preferred mode 1920x1080), but nothing happens, seems like I have changed nothing.
Any ideas?

Another thing: My TV starts to flick slowly and show bad quality of image when resized to 1280x1024. LOses Signal in 1280x720 and 1920x1080
