CafePilot is a cross-platform (Windows and Linux) client/server software suite that makes managing an Internet cafe of any size a breeze.
CafePilot supports connections over the Internet so Internet cafe businesses with multiple branches can use a centralized server. This will allow customers to roam between branches with generated pre-paid tickets.
Best of all, CafePilot is free and open source! [http://sourceforge.net/projects/cafepilot/]
I have officially created, tested and uploaded PKGBUILDs for the Server, Client and Service Request Monitor programs to AUR! I hope someone besides myself is able to enjoy utilizing this software for their cybercafe, "parental controlled" PCs, "guest" PCs, or any other type of setup one can come up with for this suite of programs.
I primarily built these because the best option that was available for Arch Linux of this type was Mkahawa (which seemed incomplete). Not a big fan of Java, but was able to get this installed and running relatively quick, so I'll put up with it for now... the PKGBUILDs weren't very difficult either. It's there and it works, which (in the end) is all that really matters... so ENJOY! ![]()
