Hi all,
I'm searching on internet, forum etc, but i'm not lucky. I'm trying to execute a jnlp application. I know I need javaws to do that and enable management in firefox. Can you please tell me where is it? I've openjdk installed! the command "which javas" does not give any result.
Everywhere and in old posts people talk about jdk NOT openjdk, which should be supposed to have all modules!
System is up-to-date
Thanks in advance

Hi,
What's wrong with jdk? I have it and web applications work well...
But for openjdk, I think you need to install icedtea (icedtea-web-java7). You'd have to search, but there's probably a wiki article about it somewhere.

thanks for the answer.
Is this:
extra/openjdk6 6.b24_1.11.1-3 [installed]
Free Java environment based on OpenJDK 6.0 with IcedTea6 replacing binary plugs.
supposed to work?
Btw I found info in the wiki here and maybe i have to update to jdk7 but i have to reinstall many programs. Is there a way to make it working?
thanks

A typo? If you're looking for 'javaws', both icedtea-web and icedtea-web-java7 seem to provide it.
