Out of date SIS M671 driver?

I have just installed extra/sisimedia for my M671 driver, only it appears that it is out of date. I am running [testing] on my system, with XServer 1.11.99, which reports its ABI as version 12. Unfortunately, the driver still expects version 11.

Am I right in thinking this is Hellnests package?

If it is, then I am sad to report that as he no longer owns an M671 card, he appears to have lost interest in maintaining the driver, as he cannot check the code for it.  Also, his code is no longer building correctly from source, reporting a ton of errors(Deprecated statements).

@Jristz: There's a sisimedia-0.9.2? Do you have a link?

I made a patch for sisimedia-0.9.1 here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=137597, Bonzodog give that a try. I don't have the hardware to test myself.
