Has anyone setup Xerox WorkCentre 3045/B in x86_64 Arch with success ?
This MFP has no support of Postscrip, PCL and ppds but it has proprietary drivers. It is win-printer with GDI as described in net.
Driver is:
http://www.support.xerox.com/support/wo … ived=false
which contains:
|-- usr
| |-- lib
| | |-- cups
| | | `-- filter
| | | |-- xrhr3ap
| | | `-- xrhr4ap
| | `-- xrhr3acl.so
| `-- share
| `-- cups
| |-- model
| | `-- Xerox
| | |-- Xerox-WorkCentre-3045B-fr.ppd.gz
| | |-- Xerox-WorkCentre-3045B.ppd.gz
| | |-- Xerox-WorkCentre-3045NI-fr.ppd.gz
| | `-- Xerox-WorkCentre-3045NI.ppd.gz
| `-- Xerox
| `-- dlut
| `-- xrhr3alut.dat
libs are 32-bit.
Is it possible to setup this MFP in x86_64 Archlinux with no pain and without noise, dust and human casualties ?:-)

Printer works with proprietary drivers copied to the file system and lib32-libcups installed. But it works not very reliable. May be after some packages upgrade (pacman -Syu) printer will not print. Of course module usblp should be unloaded.
Scanner is visible by sane-find-scanner but is not supported. So scanning does not work at all.
Xerox techsupport continues to remain silent on my questions :-).
