Need help installing maya2011

Hello

I've installed the maya2011 package from the AUR.  I've already run the adlmreg command, giving it my serial number, an that worked fine.  I also ran the licensechooser program found in /usr/autodesk/maya2011-x64/bin although I wasn't too sure how to go about using it.  I ran the command in the following way:
   
    /usr/autodesk/maya2011-x64/bin/licensechooser /usr/autodesk/maya2011-x64 standalone <my product code>

I'm not sure if the above step worked correctly or if I even needed to do it.  Now, if I run maya by typing "maya" at the command prompt this is what happens: after a couple of seconds a window pops up with the following error message,

        License was not obtained
        Tried Maya 2011 (657C1 2011.0.0.F), error 43
         
        License method:
        environment variable MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD='standalone'
       
        Product choice:
        environment variable MAYA_LICENSE='unlimited'
       
        License file override:
        environment variable MAYA_ALT_EN is not set

In the command prompt it prints out the following error message,

        license problem in GUI mode launch dialog message
        maya: License was not obtained
        Tried Maya 2011 (657C1 2011.0.0.F), error 43

        License method:

What do I have to do to be able to start up and use Maya2011?  Any help would be appreciated.
