Hey,
I am experiencing a strange behavior of the circular scrolling feature since the update to X 1.12: When circular scrolling is enabled, the vertical scrolling direction is inverted, meaning I have to wipe the finger away from (and move the finger counter clockwise) to scroll down, instead of the other way around. If I turn circular scrolling off, every works fine (except no circular scrolling ). Does anyone have the same problem?

I don't have horizontal scrolling enabled, but my vertical scrolling direction is flipped when circular scrolling is enabled. It never occurred to me that this might be related to circular scrolling, so thanks for that tip. I'm sorry I don't have any advice ...

Same here and I hate it. Have to scroll up to go down now. Unfortunately I don't know what to do about it.

Ups, I meant vertical scrolling. I think horizontal circular scrolling works just fine.

There's a new xf86-input-synaptics in testing with a patch trying to fix this certain problem. Please try it out and report.

Switching from xf86-input-synaptics-1.5.99.901-1 to xf86-input-synaptics-1.5.99.901-2 fixed it for me.
Phew, that was really an annoying bug.
