Archboot (initrd.img, vmlinuz) install HD Media

I've downloaded
http://mirror.yandex.ru/archlinux/iso/a … initrd.img
http://mirror.yandex.ru/archlinux/iso/a … ot/vmlinuz

Renamed them as
initrd.img-9.9.99-99-generic
vmlinuz-9.9.99-99-generic

This is Ubuntu Karmic. And it recognizes them in such a way usually. I used to boot Debian.

I made

sudo update-grub

and it found them.

But Arch didn't boot. It only tried to boot in a single mode.
It wrote:

Decompressing Linux... Parsing ELF... done.
Booting the kernel.

And only showed a blinking cursor.

I want Qt Global Menu.

$ file initrd.img-9.9.99-99-generic
initrd.img-9.9.99-99-generic: xz compressed data

It needs xzio.mod grub module.
