Are you still running KDE? If so, how did you remove kde libs without removing KDE?

I am running XFCE4. I had kde4-window-decorator, which I decided to remove with all other kde staff installed ( kde desktop setting ).
P.S. If I have fonts change in SLIM input fields, means the problem is not on "user" level.
P.S.S Reinstalled kde4-window-decorator and libs... Didn't help///

Which fonts do you have installed? Do you have "ttf-dejavu"? I'm also using the Ubuntu patched fontconfig, etc. from the AUR which helps a lot: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … ion#Ubuntu
I use this extension in Opera, which makes fonts look great:

I have ttf-dejavu installed right now, but the problem still exists.
