I used pendrivelinux to make a boot disk for arch.
I got to the arch load screen and attempted to run the Live option. However, I keep getting these USB errors, such as "usb 1-2: device no accepting address 4, error -71" and so on.
Help?

The power is failing on the USB stick.
It may be because it's old, been used a lot, or it could be a problem with the USB ports on your PC.
You shouldn't be using PenDriveLinux to do Arch Linux. Follow the instructions in the Wiki and use "dd".

"... being a Linux user is sort of like living in a house inhabited by a large family of carpenters and architects. Every morning when you wake up, the house is a little different. Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved. Or perhaps someone has temporarily removed the floor under your bed." - Unix for Dummies, 2nd Edition

The wiki pointed me to pendrive, but I'll try it your way for grins.
