Hey,
I'm about to configure an Arch system on my MacBook Pro 7,1.
I was able to let pommed take control over the backlight via Apple-Hotkey,
but the settings i use for the backlight in kde's Power-Management doesn't work anymore.
Also it worked before i installed the nvidia driver.
Is there a way to tell KDE what it shoud do?
PS: Sorry for my bad english and so on, im not a native speaker

Well, don't know what happend. Somehow pommed didn't control my screen brightness anymore.
While searching for the reason, i found out that /sys/class/backlight/nvidia.... wasn't there anymore.
I tried to check out, what caused the problem. Then I noticed the "Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1"" wasn't set correctly for my GPU section.
I added it correctly, reinstalled pommed and now adjusting the screen brightness works nicely. With pommed via hotkey, as well as with the kde application ![]()
