[SOLVED]Weird boot problem

When I boot Arch, the following Errors are throwed

ERROR: Unable to find root device '/dev/sda6' Unable to determine major/minor...
You are being dropped to a recovery shell.
Type 'exit' to try and continue booting sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

and I will be dropped to a shell as it says. I googled this problem and find a temporary 'solution' :

modprobe ahci
modprobe sd_mod
exit

and then it will boot as it should do. but I want to fix this problem instead of doing this everytime I boot it. Any idea ?

You should've searched the forums for "unable to find root device". It has been beaten to death around here.

Re: [SOLVED]Weird boot problem

Someone in that thread mentioned a "lovely wiki" entry: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … onger_boot.

Improper use of the --force parameter sounds about right. Don't use that again.
