When I play any media through VLC, it is as if I only get the right audio channels through my 5.1 surround system. I downloaded a surround tester audio file and I can just barely hear the left channel tests when my ear is pressed against those speakers. The center channel is at a normal level, and my right speakers are very loud. If I play the same files in MPlayer, the audio is balanced fine, but it cannot play all files. I don't recall having this problem a long time ago, but I haven't used VLC on this computer in a while. I seem to recall setting the right side audio slightly higher when my speakers were at our old place, but I can't find a balance setting anywhere in VLC. I am running "VLC media player 2.0.1 Twoflower". Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
