Hi!
I have a problem with my printer EPSON DX7450. I have CUPS and gutenprint but EPSON is still "invisible" for Arch. I have xsane for scanning a documents and, what's strange, xsane scans documents without any problem. I loaded usblp, but CUPS still no sees my printer.
lsusb | grep Epson

dmesg | grep EPSON

tail /var/log/messages.log | grep USB

If it is an usb printer, you can try this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 2#p1048222

I don't have any files in /etc/udev/rules.d .

Try this,

Worked for my RX685, I would also reccomend trying iscan.

Then see this thread.

No, but the idea was you create one ;-)
Anyway, great you solved it with the AUR package recommended by zero_one.
Please edit the subject (edit button on bottom right of first post) and add [Solved] to it. This makes it easier for others searching for working solutions in the forum.
