Hi all,
I am using an old box as a server and it appears that it has a stability problem when I connect a USB tv tuner adapter to it. I have 2 USB wireless adapters connected to the machine and hostapd is broadcasting wireless through them (one is on a 32' USB extension to provide some separation between the 2). I have a Hauppauge tv tuner which I've used on my laptop plenty of times before to record tv shows.
I have 8 USB ports in total I believe, 2 in the front which I used for diagnostics occasionally, 4 in the back for connecting most devices and 2 spares.
This is my lsusb:

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11nIf the 2 wireless devices are USB 2 and the tv tuner is USB 2, will that work, or will there be issues? How many USB 2 devices can I connect to the machine? Can I connect 8?
I tried disconnecting the tv tuner adapter for the time being, as I suspect having 3 USB 2.0 devices is the culprit. I'll know in another 24 hours (not sure why it takes so long for it to suddenly die, it might be mythtv is attempting to access the device then). I only have a screenshot of the output because the system completely hangs / locks and cannot be used whatsoever.
