How to make the Xfce/Thunar recycle bin empty trash on all drives?

I nearly always have two or three external hard drives / flash drives plugged into my laptop, and coming from Ubuntu I've been used to having the trash contain the .Trash-1000 folder of all of my drives.  It's become a bit of an annoyance to browse manually delete the contents of each trash folder when I used to be able to do the same with two clicks.

Is there a setting somewhere I can chage to achieve this functionality, or will I need to write a script to empty the bins for me?
