After running for a while (can be a couple of minutes or a couple of seconds), 3d opengl apps are rendering "weird".
I've got this in a couple of opengl 3d games.
See it for yourself:

Does anyone know what the problem might be and/or how to fix it?
I'm using a Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT with the latest nvidia driver.

i don't suppose you're overclocking the video card? post your xorg.conf and glxinfo results.

No, I rather have a stable system than a few percents more performance.
post your xorg.conf and glxinfo results.

I know that some people have had problems similar to this, and by underclocking their card 5mhz were able to fix it.

I know that some people have had problems similar to this, and by underclocking their card 5mhz were able to fix it.
problem is: the Geforce 6 isn't yet fully supported by nvclock
when I do:
nvclock -i -s
to get detailed card info and the current speeds in Mhz
I get:
It seems your card isn't officialy supported in NVClock yet.
The reason can be that your card is too new.
If you want to try it anyhow [DANGEROUS], use the option -f to force the setting(s).
NVClock will then assume your card is a 'normal', it might be dangerous on other cards.
Also please email the author the pci_id of the card for further investigation.
[Get that value using the -i option].
When I force nvclock to show the values by using the -f option, the results are:
Card: Unknown Nvidia card
Card number: 1
Memory speed: -2147483.750 MHz
Core speed: -2147483.750 MHz
Which doesn't make any sense at all.
for a reference: I've got this card.
Because of this, I'm afraid underclocking will go terribly wrong, messing up my video card, and because I used an overclocking tool, my warranty will be void.

I am not sure, but shouldn't the 'VideoRam 128' section have 2 " around the '128'?
P.S. Sorry my bad english.
Arch - It's something refreshing

No, because I configured that with the xorg configuration tool and second: there aren't any quotation marks in the example either:
# BusID "PCI:0:10:0"
# VideoRam 256
# Clocks 25.2 28.3

After running for a while (can be a couple of minutes or a couple of seconds), 3d opengl apps are rendering "weird".
I've got this in a couple of opengl 3d games.
See it for yourself:
Have you checked on nvidia forums with the trademark name of your 6600gt ? Maybe the card is defective and you should replace it.
