Multiple monitors without X

Is there a way to use multiple monitors without installing X, WM/DE?

Re: Multiple monitors without X

Looks like this old thread didn't yield any results - or at least they didn't post em.
From that other thread:

Please send me an email if you find a way.

Maybe you can ask this user per email - and please post the results back here.

A quick search only pointed me towards DirectFB, which is a little less ugly than using a "different X" if you know what I mean smile

You know you're paranoid when you start thinking random letters while typing a password.

Re: Multiple monitors without X

Do you want different tty's on each screen, or just mirrored output?

The former would probably require directFB, but the latter is what I get when I boot with an additional monitor connected though this may require KMS.
