I've installed Arch with the netinstall image plenty of times in the past, but when I went to install it again yesterday (on the same computer) I had a problem with DHCPCD. It times out every time it is run in the first step of installation. I tried running it with more time but had no luck. It worked without any problems before. My Internet connection was fine in Windows and in Arch (dual boot) until now. I can't test it anymore because GRUB fails, though.
I've reset my router, rebooted, etc. many times to no avail. I also tried doing the manual network configuration, but had no I idea what I was doing and it would not let me proceed once I got to the steps involving package downloads.
Does anybody have an idea of what could cause this?

Ended up using archboot later in the day. Worked just fine, but the success does not necessarily come from it being archboot- could just be that I waited or something.

Try switching to another tty during the install (Alt-F2 ) and manually issue a "dhcpcd <interface>" and see what the output is.
