[SOLVED] Red Version numbers in package search?

What do the red version numbers mean in the package search? (for example, linux 3.3.2 under 64 bit)

It means that they have been "flagged out of date."  Which means that the upstream developer has released a newer version than what is currently in Arch's repositories.  When that newer version gets into Arch's repositories the package is no longer out of date and the red highlight is reset.  Rinse and repeat, rolling distribution.

Thanks!  I figured it was something simple, but I didn't see it anywhere.

You're welcome. smile

You can also click on the version number of a package and it will give you detailed information on it.  On the right side of the screen you will see an information box.  In that box you can see whether or not the new version is in "testing" or not.  Packages almost always go through testing before they hit the main repositories.
