[SOLVED] GeForce 210 Graphics Card | Video Card Artifacts

My old card stopped working (caused both Linux and Windows to crash), so started using the on board card. No crashes. I missed dual monitors, however, so decided to get a GeForce 210. Seems to work great except for video artifacts. When I run youtube, for instance, on one tag (awesome window manger) , the video is played on all other tags (workspaces). Does this mean the card or pci slot is bad? Bad driver? I'm not a hardware guy, so I might need some hand-holding.

Edit: It seems the video is only duplicated on the black areas of the screen.

Solved: Someone on the ubuntuforums was having the same problem: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1690285 . Just had to disable hardware acceleration on flash and the problem was solved. Not sure if this is a problem with other programs using hardware acceleration or not. Will post back if still having issues.

Re: [SOLVED] GeForce 210 Graphics Card | Video Card Artifacts

Gday mate, which drivers did you go with for the GeForce 210? I can't tell if nouveau supports it well, however don't particularly want to go with the 96xx nvidia driver due to incompatibility with newer versions of xorg-server. The opinion of another user would be great big_smile
