kms not displaying my native resolution

Ok, so if i understand this corectly, if i have ksm enabeled, which it should be by default, and i add 'radeon' to the MODULES="" array in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and run 'mkinitcpio -p linux', then my framebuffer should automaticly be shown at my native resolution (1920x1080) after a reboot?

Well if that is so then it is not working for me.

I have tried passing a 'video=1920x1080' argument to the kernel line but with no luck.

Any help whould be grately apriciated!
