atl1c driver broken in kernel 3.3.3-1

The atl1c driver seems broken in 3.3.3-1. It refuses to work with ipv4.

1 )Assigning eth0 an ip address and pinging the gateway doesn't work.
2) dhcpd doesn't work either.

Switching kernels to  3.0.29-1-lts restored the functionality and steps above worked.
