windowlab issues

I wanted a minimalistic wm so I just installed windowlab.
However I can't figure out how to change colors and background.

I fiddled a bit w/ windowlab.h settings but I couldn't change anything.
Most of the lines were commented and I'm not sure what or how to change.
How do I change settings in order to change colors and set a bmp as wallpaper?

Moreover, when I choose <Quit> from the taskbar the screen goes blank...

Re: windowlab issues

Already got it.
When I first posted didn't know that X commands take care of it so I was blaming the wm...
Used X commands such as xsetroot w/ the arguments I wanted.

By the way, I'm really liking windowlab's simplicity. Such piece of elegant software should have been named diferently. As it is the name vaguely reminds something from a crapware corporation (lol).

Cheers
