I maintain the kpcli package in AUR, which was a single perl script, until the last version, when a README file was added. Despite the name, this file is mix of man page/changelog/install manual. The script is installed to /usr/bin, but given the rather eclectic nature of the new file, I am at a loss as to where should it be installed. The best idea so far is to create a "kpcli" folder in /usr/share/doc, and put the README there.
Suggestions (or other/better ideas)?

in my opinion /usr/share/doc is fine.
additionally i would let print information that README is in /usr/share/doc/$pkgname via "install"-file
