[SOLVED] no cdrom in /etc/fstab

I  have installed arch linux on a virtual box vm . There are lot of issues. But primarily I want to be able to install packages from the cd. I looked up /sys/block/*/devices and also /dev .

I think /dev/sr0 and /dev/scd0 are cdrom devices.

I cant find any of them  in /etc/fstab.

So I am totally clueless on how to make that happen and mount the filesystem.

Re: [SOLVED] no cdrom in /etc/fstab

It has been quite a time since I have seen cdrom in the fstab. I think this used to be a shortcut for lazy mounting before things like udisk were modern.
