Ranger File Manager, How to Copy Filename

I didn't find any command to yank a filename... is there a way to do that?

Re: Ranger File Manager, How to Copy Filename

Thanks kleskjr, however I think I didn't express myself well... I just wondered If I can copy the "name" of the file, not the file itself...

Re: Ranger File Manager, How to Copy Filename

Thanks D. It works!
I remember I've already tried that but probably it didn't worked because I didn't have xsel installed.

One last thing: if I want to paste that name while renaming another file (so after the command cw) how can I do?
Do I have to create a custom command using xsel -o?

Press Shift+Insert for paste

Ask, and it shall be given you.
Seek, and ye shall find.
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
