[Solved] Install of Sun/Oracle version of java plugin

Open-jdk versions 6 and 7 still fail on certain webpages.  I have tried to install the official Oracle java plugin for Linux, but even after following their instructions, firefox and chromium both fail to recognize the plugin.  (Unpack, link the lib...so file to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ directory, put the binary in my path, restart)

Has anybody had any luck on making this work for Arch?  This is on a laptop running 32 bit Arch.

I use jre from AUR.  The one web app I need it for works fine in ff.

Installing the jre... package from the AUR did the trick -- thanks!
