[SOLVED] Odd Firefox tabs (vertical lines on top of the tabs)

Hello,

This is what my tabs look like on Firefox 12:

I have reinstalled my system 3 times for various reasons over the last few days, and its the same each time. I see this whether I am in gnome or KDE. I also tried changing my firefox theme and that didn't work either. I *think* though I'm not sure that whatever is causing this is also affecting how some web pages are drawn, based on some of the glitches I've seen on web pages. Also, when I've seen it in KDE, it was without gnome installed, and vice versa for when I see it in KDE.

Any ideas?
