Any PKGBUILDs yet?

Right, now the long task of getting all the games to work.
Bastion: Installer is awsome - it automatically creates a pacman package if you tick the box at the beginning! Unfortunately, when I try and play the game, it shows the logos then just a black screen. Sound works, and clicking makes a cursor appear. I can even use the invisible menu and start a new game, but there isn't a lot of point playing if I can't see anything...
Psychonauts: A window flashes on the screen, before it segfaults complaining of the missing OpenGL extension GL_EXT_texture_compression_s3tc (even though I have libtxc_dxtn installed).
Limbo: Uses Wine. That's not a Linux port. Also crashes when I try to start it.
Sword and Sworcery: Still downloading. I think the Humble Bundle servers are feeling the strain.
So great games and all, but I have yet to play any of them. Can't wait for Steam on Linux...

Yeah, the servers are quite busy...
I haven't had the time to try even the soundtracks, so for now I can't offer any PKGBUILD or solution to the installers, sorry! I hope to get some time tomorrow friday.

hehe I bought it early.
Sword and Sworcery works perfectly (it's 32bit though. I ran in a 32bit chroot with no trouble).
Bastion: blank screen also...
I have the crappy G45 intel graphics. I think bastion needs model 2 shaders..

Sword and Sworcery finished downloading and works great for me - I didn't need to use a 32bit chroot. I'm really gutted about Bastion, I've been wanting to play it for ages but never managed to get it working under NaCl.

Yeh I picked up the bundle also. Bastion works really well for me (Nvidia 9800GTX+ 512MB, nvidia 295.53), just spent an hour playing it.. fun game. Will be trying other games shortly.
I am having issues running LIMBO also, bit sad it uses crossover looks like the dev took a shortcut rather than doing a proper port. If I just use wine to run the exe then it runs, but errors out when trying to run with "launch-limbo.sh"

Bastion works for me if I run it using the -windowed command line option (use -x and -y to set the width and height respectively).

so you have multilib installed?
bastion in window mode doesn't work for me either. do you have intel gpu?

Bought it, looks very good this time around The only game I downloaded though was Limbo, since I'm way over my bandwidth cap and it resets tomorrow, but it crashes when I start it. It's a crossover port which is unfortunate, but apparently the audio technology used in Limbo was a middleware unable to be ported. I'd be fine if it worked, but it doesn't, at least not in Arch. Any ideas? I'll try the other games tomorrow when I get more bandwidth.
EDIT: Limbo works fine if I just run limbo.exe with Wine, so as long as I can play it fine, I guess that's alright I guess. Oh well, least it works now Will download the other games shortly.

Same here about Limbo. That's sad.
Can't wait to try the other ones. I've never seen a Bundle with so many interesting games. I'm especially eager to try Psychonauts.

I do indeed have multilib libraries installed, but I don't know which ones are needed.
I have a Radeon gpu. Do you get any errors when you run Bastion from the command line?

So I got Psychonauts to start by installing lib32-libtxc_dxtn from the AUR, but after the Double Fine intro (with horrible audio) it crashes with a floating error or something. On the third attempt to run it, the was no sound, and it didn't have a floating point error, but it did completely freeze, and since it had grabbed both my mouse and keyboard, I had to go into a tty to kill it.

For Sword & Sworcery EP, I needed the following:
lib32-mesa (fixes the libglu error)
lib32-libpulse (for sound)
lib32-nvidia-utils (Nvidia cards only)
There may be other libs I forgot that were previously installed from (my installed 32-bit libs: http://pastebin.com/LXX7iGbr), but the key for me was lib32-libpulse that fixed my sound issues.
EDIT: Clarification.

To fix Bastion on Intel integrated cards, do something like the following:
force_s3tc_enable=true ./Bastion.bin.x86_64
Setting this environment variable enables a specific texture compression algorithm in the video driver. With this, the game runs great on my Intel chipset.

I had the same problem, try the fix in the second post here: linkey. It worked for me, unfortunately I'm now stuck on the black screen issue .

So far I have tried:
sh Bastion-HIB-2012-05-29-2.sh
sh -x Bastion-HIB-2012-05-29-2.sh
sh Bastion-HIB-2012-05-29-2.sh --frontend=ncurses
sudo sh Bastion-HIB-2012-05-29-2.sh
and still no luck. :-( Same error each time.
I'm running a pretty clean install of Arch Linux with GNOME3.
Perhaps I miss some unspecified dependencies?

it was the first suggestion that worked for me, to use --target TempDir --noexec and then navigate to the TempDir and run startupinstaller.sh from there (so try "Bastion-HIB-1012-05-29-2.sh --target ./bastion/ --noexec" then "cd ./bastion/" then "./startupinstaller.sh"). You didn't mention that you had tried that I think(then again it is late so I could be reading wrong lol. If so I think there might be a few other solutions on the frictional forums, they use the same installer as the bastion guys.

This worked like a charm! What a strange bug... Oh well, let's see how this goes. :-) Thanks.

I got this because my /tmp partition ran out of space. To fix it, run the installer with --target pointing to a directory with more space.
Bastion-HIB-2012-05-29-2.sh --target $HOME/Games/tmp

I've created an AUR package for Limbo: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=59673

Thanks! Works for me! Very slow in areas with rain, although better slow than a blank screen.

In case someone is stuck with the same problem I had: with Baston's installer, when prompted for the "Administrator" password, you should enter your password to sudo, not root password. Otherwise the installer doesn't progress, but still keeps using a lot of CPU.
