nm-applet does not allow me to choose a network

As you can see in the picture above, the list is inactive and I can't click on any of the entries present.

I have followed ArchLinux Wiki guide to install and configure ( if we can say so ) networkmanager, so, please, do not prioritize it smile

Is there anything I can do about it ?

Before you go into any settings, I'd try starting nm-applet again under root privileges. Any time that I'm not allowed to do something with it, it's usually cause nm-applet was started normally instead of under sudo.
