Im having a huge problem with my mouse. Whenever I start X, the mouse does not want to move alone the X axis. If I try to move it, it always return to this one sopt on the screen, making it unbearable to use. I have tried restarting X and my machine and I have not had any luck. It recently started after I updatex Xorg. I tried to record what is happening, I hope this picture can help you.
As you can see, it keeps movint back to the spot right above the terminal and is very jerky.
Sometimes it works normally for a few seconds, maybe 10 at most, but it seems random.

What typeof mouse is it?
Optical, wheeel, usb, PS/2?
Did you create an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file or modify /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf ?
Post the files if you modified them.
I am assuming its a desktop not a laptop and you have installed xf86-input-mouse
Check the obvious first as well, that the optics or the ball is clean.

I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

If you have a joystick plugged in you may want to try leaving it disconnected (and any other peripheral except keyboard + mouse) when testing for this problem.
Work smart, not hard.
