Analysing my dmesg output, something freezes my arch

I have some wiered freezings with arch, most likely the X11 freezes beacuse the sound and other proccesses continues working on background. I have latitude 6420 with kernel 3.3 and using the Nvidia NVS 4200 graphics card.

Some of the problems that i found from dmesg and needs explaining or solution, as you can see lot of the problems are related with ACPI:

If it's just your X server that's freezing, what does your Xorg.0.log and .xsession_errors say after the freeze? Are you still able to switch to another tty?

If you can't switch to another tty, you can enable magic sysrq keys to at least be able to shut down gracefully until you are able to get the problem sorted.

My first bet on the origin of your problems are those two lines from your dmesg log :

It seems to me that your BIOS doesn't present itself neither as a clear 32bit nor as a clear 64bit, looks like it works in some kind of "compatibility mode".

Next, there's one of the lines you pointed :

that suggests there may also be a problem with the SMBus support in your BIOS (maybe a consequence of my point above though).

To make it short, you should try to look inside your BIOS parameters what could stand in the way of the Linux kernel when it tries to identify architecture components (there maybe some incompatibilities with Sandy Bridge platform).

Or maybe it's your kernel choice .... out of simple curiosity, what's the goal of booting an SMP pre-emptive kernel on a mono-processor (although octo-core) laptop ?

What happens if you boot with "pci=[options-below]" at the kernel boot line?
pci=noacpi :  is not to use ACPI for IRQ routing or for PCI scanning as many of these errors point to this issue...
pci=usepirqmask : is to honor the possible IRQ mask stored in the BIOS $PIR table. Some Notebooks need this!
