even with qtcurve-kde4 removed systemsettings still crashes while accessing workspace appearance here.

Edit: as @teho said, rebuilding oxygen-transparent-git package solved it, so I guess rebuilding qtcurve might solve it for those who are having crashes.

Just tried to reinstall kde 4.9b, didnt help. Maybe clean something in .kde4 dir? But i dont want to lose it all.
Desktop effects disabled.

Could be related to today's [testing] updates? some python-* to python2-* comes to my mind..

I can't. Dolphin only "see" my / partition. Ext4 partitions and USB memories (fat32) are affected.

when rename archives in dolphin, appears lots of window with menssage to rename archive, whren fishish rename (in first window), open(and instantany clodsed) more consecutive windows with message: "don't rename archive, archive don't exist"

steps:
select archive to rename in dolphin
press F2 to rename
change name
press enter to apply changes
when rename is sucessfull in first time, open and close lots of messages "dont rename, archive don't exist"

other:
in console in dolphin (F4)
when make package from makepkg (for example). jump to directory listed in PKGFILE

example:

in pkgfile:

build() {
cd srcdir/directory
"command"
cd srcdir/directory/2
command
cd ..
...
}

when execute makepkg. jump into srcdir/directory (view contents in dolphin), finish execute command  (in console), jump to srcdir/directory/2 in dolphin (view contents), execute commnad (in console) , jump to...

Yes, it works, but only from Dolphin's Ctrl+F. The krunner doesn't show up nepomuk results, neither does the timeline:/ in Dolphin...

kdelibs 4.8.80-5 includes the fixes for the battery and the mount in dolphins bugs.

Dolphin still can't mount a fstab cifs share (while Krusader does). I see that https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301071 is still in the NEW status.

when rename archives in dolphin, appears lots of window with menssage to rename archive, whren fishish rename (in first window), open(and instantany clodsed) more consecutive windows with message: "don't rename archive, archive don't exist"

It "magically" works now after 2 reboots and deleting kde stuff from /var/tmp.

Something is wrong with applications using kipi plugins (gwenview, ksnapshot). They seem to be looking for the .so files belonging to extra/libkipi 4.8.3-1.

Can anyone confirm that:
  1. Battery plasmoid does not show the remaining time (I enabled the option from settings, of course...)
  2. Battery plasmoid does not update the remaining battery in % when coming from sleep (a.k.a. suspension to RAM) until I restart the plasma-desktop

Even after the kdelibbs update I still can't mount a USB drive from Dolphin, only from the Device Notifier plasmoid.

Also, I confirm that remaining time doesn't display in the battery plasmoid, even if enabled.

Another thing is that with kernel 3.4+, the brightness slider in the battery plasmoid doesn't work even though I can adjust brightness using the function keys. This happened with 4.8.3 as well. Not sure if this is a kernel problem or plasma problem?

Here is the patch to have qtcurve compile properly with the new KDE. It's just a temporary fix for it to build, the author of qtcurve still needs to come up with the proper solution: http://codepad.org/qx6qdGNa
