When I upgraded kernel from linux-3.3.8-1 to linux-3.4.2-2 or later , PC freezes after resuming.
Monitor comes back and kde requires passward , but after few seconds , everything freezes.
keyboard and mouse won't respond.
There is no log after resuming.
Is there anybody who have same trouble?

I am sorry if my English is hard to understand. Please ask if you would like me to explain something again.

The log you posted does not contain a bit about the resume after suspend, maybe that part or error.log gives you some hint.

Yes, I know that.
But there is no log about the resume.

well I had an issue with no mouse or keyboard at gdm login screen and it ended up being Xorg not utilizing xf86-input-keyboard or xf86-input-mouse. just a thought that it may be related? My screen felt frozen however it was just keyboard and mouse not responding

In my case, monitor freezes too.
And I have only one PC, so i can't try ssh.
I logged into runlevel3 and try
sudo pm-suspendand it works fine. So it seems this trouble caused only in runlevel5.
I also tried following command in runlevel5
# echo freezer > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/state
# echo devices > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/state
# echo platform > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/state
# echo processors > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/state
# echo core > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/stateEverything works fine but sudo pm-suspend failed.

I had a similar problem.
The screen turn into black. I can switch to tty1. However, I cannot login though tty1. The prompt for password never shows up no matter which user name I use.
And if I switch back to the tty7 which is the graphic environment, everything freezes.
I checked all of the logs , nothing is recorded. It just randomly happens, which makes it more difficult to be figured out.

Having the same problem here on my laptop. after resume, screen goes black (backlight on) and the fan is speeding up like crazy, which (for me) usually only happens after a kernel panic.
Also no useful logs available.
Downgrade to kernel 3.3.8 was helpful, though

I have exactly the same problem...
I think this only happens when firefox is running.

Mine is a little different. It seems random as I couldn't figure out what is causing it.
I would CTRL-ALT-L lock the screen. Trying to resume it locks up the GUI (tty7) - either black or half faded screen. Switching to other lower tty works.
@Slizzered, how do you downgrade?

I found quite similar thread.
So I want to try bios update but there is only exe file.
I'm having query to asrock when instant flash version will release.

Sorry,I can't understand the intent of your question.
I updated BIOS with the method called "ASRock Instant Flash".
