Kde Freezes 10-15sec's Between Login and Startup Sound

I have noticed with pulseaudia and alsa configured i have like a pause after logging in and hearing the startup sound. Its abou 15 seconds. Durring that time i can not launch any programs only move my cursor throughout the desktop.

and the Kmixd service when disabled solves the problem? What is this service is it ok for it to be disabled? if anyone else is having this issue have you found a workaround?

Edit: I should add that moving pulseaudio.desktop to a different location fixed the problem for me, as suggested in that thread. Disabling kmixd will probably break your mixer.
