Rosewill RK-8100 "Gaming" Keyboard not working

So I bought this keyboard from newegg just a few days ago: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6823201048

I received it and plugged it in, and the dumb logo on the keyboard lights up however trying to type with it results in nothing. I tried using it on my wife's Windows laptop and it still does nothing UNTIL you install the "drivers" from the CD it came with. Having to install "drivers" to get a damn keyboard to work is preposterous so I know there is some way to get this to work under arch...I just don't know what the problem is. Here is the last 5 lines from dmesg after I plug this in:

[17702.790160] input: KB USB Keyboard as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb4/4-1/4-1.4/4-1.4:1.0/input/input22
[17702.790390] generic-usb 0003:04D9:A055.0011: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [KB USB Keyboard] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-1.4/input0
[17702.804218] generic-usb 0003:04D9:A055.0012: usage index exceeded
[17702.804221] generic-usb 0003:04D9:A055.0012: item 0 2 2 2 parsing failed
[17702.804227] generic-usb: probe of 0003:04D9:A055.0012 failed with error -22

It seems line 3 is the start of the problem but I just don't know what it means, I could really use some help please smile
