So I'm running Gnome 3. No floppy drive installed, have even blacklisted module in modprobe.d.
After a while I notice the cpu usage spikes.
root 1124 69.1 0.0 10688 956 ? R 16:00 26:36 mount -t auto -o uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid /dev/fd0 /run/media/<username>/disk
I cannot find any udev rules for this nor anything in fstab. I don't have any auto mounting apps installed.
I'm guessing it could be nautilus trying to mount it?
I cannot kill it (not even kill -9). Rebooting is only way to solve it.
Any ideas?

Disable it from the BIOS. You probably restored defaults there recently and it reverted to "auto" instead of "disabled" or something like that.
I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).
