Laptop suddenly awakes when in standby

My Laptop:
---------------

Arch Linux 64bit
Intel® Core™ i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz × 4

HP Pavilion dv6

The problem:
-----------------

When I put my laptop in suspend (or hybrid) after a while it just wakes up. The screens remains black (backlight on ) and the fans go like crazy.

So far
---------
I've heard something about automatic wakeup. But in my BIOS I cannot find anything that has to do with that

Re: Laptop suddenly awakes when in standby

Several things can wakeup a machine from suspend, for example, the ethernet card. This is usually configurable in the BIOS. But also USB devices may wakeup the machine.
From what you write it is not clear if the machine successfully wakes up or not.

I have a similar problem and do not have a wired network. And the only USB device connected is mouse.
