Video card driver problem with Intel HD4000 and NVIDIA GT650M

I have bought a laptop recently, with i7 3610QM and GT650M, and plan to install both ubuntu(for recovery) and arch(for daily use) on it.
I installed Ubuntu first, and It seems that ubuntu automatically installed driver for HD4000, and works pretty well (can run nexuiz), but when I installed the `nvidia-current' package, resolution turned very low and nvidia-settings tells me that I am not using a NVIDIA card. I removed nvidia driver and things back to normal.

Then I turned to arch. Things got much worse. After a long time trying, I end up with installing xf86-video-intel-{sna,uxa} (set Driver in xorg.conf to intel), and the screen resolution is fixed to 640x480, while nvidia driver end up with 'no devices detected' (using nvidia-xconfig to generate xorg.conf)

I want to get my nvidia card work. If that can not be done, fallback to HD4000 is ok too.

I am a newbie here. Has anyone encountered this problem either?
