Since a couple of weeks the boot process stalls for several minutes during the "Mounting Root Read-Only" step. After ~4 minutes it throws an error like:
INFO: task mount:177 blocked for more than 120 seconds
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message. After that, the boot process continues and everything seems fine. While it may absolutely be unrelated, the problem appeared after I upgraded from kernel 3.3.8-1 to 3.4.2-2. I have not tried to downgrade to see if that fixes the issue (damn catalyst drivers always mess things up). However, I'm running 3.4.4-2 now and the situation is the same.
So, is my drive failing or could this be, say, a btrfs related problem? I have my root partition formatted with btrfs (with a separate ext2 /boot). Might that have something to do with it?
