Installation Guide Request

Hey guys

First up, i understand that arch isnt to blame, the filesystem changes and interventions come from other sources

Not only do i see these issue's in the forums, ive experienced them myself, and thats installing archlinux smoothly. back in the days when i started arch, it was ncurses > cli > useradd > drivers,sound,basics > DE and you were in and running. simplistic

Now everytime i do an arch installation, im finding myself Looking up the issues on a second computer, and trying to get around each intervention, including keys, filesystem upgrades, and a deletion of a file just to get past pacman -Syu

So for newcomers that are still showing up in the archlinux community, i think until either an iso is released that have these issues prepatched. a guide should be made with step by step instructions on how to bypass these issue's and get archlinux installed smoothly. if anyone has the time it would probably help newcomers alot

Yep, an Arch Netinstall is the best way to go for new installations, imo.

It's still quite manual yet, but coupled with the above link (from @jasonwryan, Post #3) it'll definitely end up up-to-date, + without all that "glibc", or "/run", and a 100 other hassles...
